TEAM VA: OVERVIEW

 
 

TEAM VIRGINIA is made up of the top boys players in the region looking to accelerate the development of their skills and play lacrosse at the next level. While we represent the state of Virginia, we have athletes in our program from a variety of states such as Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware and beyond.

We are known for our coaching and innovating training sessions— our track record shows that since 2013, players who are a part of our program and buy into our vision for the long run go on to play at the highest of levels whether it’s high school, collegiately or professionally.

We are a part of the AMERICAN LACROSSE COLLECTIVE (ALC) which provides our athletes an opportunity to play on regional and national all-star teams.

 TEAM VIRGINIA OFFERINGS

  • TEAM VIRGINIA ELITE: This is our premier program at Team Virginia exclusive to the top players at every age group. This team trains and competes all year-round with the focus of preparing players to compete at the highest level. Training session will feel like a collegiate-style practice filled with high-tempo drills, positional development, even/uneven concepts, situational and full field drills.

  • TEAM VIRGINIA ACADEMY: Team Virginia Academy is our next best program offering at Team Virginia. This program is focused around training and development — players train in their age groups rather than teams and are led by the top coaches in the program. This allows every practice to be highly competitive and replicates the college experience. This program is capped at 40-44 players per age group and will be split up into two teams prior to tournaments — Team Virginia Gold and Team Virginia Navy

OUR SEASON

 At Team Virginia, we offer a unique year-round experience compared to other clubs in the area. Historically, traditional club teams hold tryouts at the conclusion of the Summer (mid-July) to field teams for the upcoming Fall 2023 - Summer 2024 season. At Team Virginia, our year will go from Winter 2023 - Fall 2024.
